The licensing for zero-project music is designed to be friendly, simple, and creator-focused. Below is a clear guide on how you can use the music for free, and how to get a commercial license if needed.
The golden rule (free use)
zero-project musical works are free of copyright restrictions under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
You are free to download, copy, share, and use the music in any personal or commercial project (including websites, movies, games, videos, podcasts, and ads), as long as you give proper credit to the artist.
Recommended credit format:

(or a direct link to the release's page).
My promise to you
I want you to feel completely safe using my music. That’s why I promise that any future changes to zero-project's licensing model will never affect past releases. Once you use a track under the current Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, your right to use it is permanent. No surprises, no take-backs.
YouTube and monetization
The zero-project licensing is extremely friendly for content creators. The music does not use Content ID.
This means no one will claim rights to the music used in your videos, and you will hold 100% of your monetization earnings without any fear of copyright strikes. You are free to monetize your videos, as long as you give credit in the video description.
If you ever receive a false copyright notice from a third party, please send an email to info@zero-project.gr.
Commercial licenses (no credit)
If you prefer not to include credits in your project, or if you are a professional who requires a formal PDF certificate of legal use for a client or broadcaster, you will need to purchase a commercial license via the licensing platforms Jamendo or The Music Case.
Direct licensing links are provided on the respective page of each release (album, single, or track).
Remixes and derivative works
You can release a remix of a zero-project song, provided it is a genuine remix (not just a slightly altered version) and the original source is clearly mentioned in the title. For example: "Your title - Remix on [original song] by zero-project".
Important: You cannot release your remix as a copyrighted work, and you must not use Content ID or any audio fingerprinting technology. Doing so would falsely flag the original song and harm other creators using it. Thank you for playing fair!
Trademark and registration
All zero-project musical works are officially registered with Safe Creative.
zero-project® is a registered trademark (US Registration Number: 7605655). Unauthorized use of the name or associated branding is strictly prohibited.
