2011/August/13: After a break on composing gothic rock songs, the time has come: The most recent and representative work of this style of music is here and the title is "Songs". The lyrics are written by Yannis Tzionas. Special female vocals belong to Agni Ponichtera. Guitars are played by Andreas Triantafillidis, the guitarist of the "Salveo" band. The voice was recorded at the "Timeless Recording Studio". You can find this song as well as some other goodies (like wallpapers and CD cover) on the Music/Songs/Gothic rock page. "Songs" are here... and they will stay!

2011/August/01: "Sulla pelle umida" is a new chillout style song which talks about forgotten summers, rain and love. The wonderful Italian voice belongs to Roberta Volpi, who also wrote the lyrics. This song is available on the Music/Songs/Miscellaneous page. Enjoy it :)

2011/July/02: "Wild time" is a darkwave/industrial style song which talks about the time's implacability on human's life. When I first red the lyrics written by Ionas, I wanted to pass the strange feeling which was generated to my mind with music which could support this great text. Original text in Greek language is available here. The song is available on the Music/Songs/Greek songs page.

2011/June/11: "Ashes" is an "old fashioned" blues style song which brings in mind the retro sense of 20th century's beginning. Imagine yourself being in an old bar, fill your glass with your favorite drink and let your feelings travel you to past eras :) Lyrics and vocals are by Vagia Papapostolou. Video is made by Lia MRN and you can watch it here. This song is available on the Music/Songs/Greek songs page.

2011/June/07: "zero-project" music was first used in "ESOcast 26: Life and Leisure at Paranal" episode from ESO, the European Southern Observatory. For the next video "An ESO Astronomer at work", tracks from "Earth" album have been used.

2011/May/07: "Summer moments" is a new chillout song which talks about summer and love... This song is available on the Music/Songs/Miscellaneous page. Enjoy :)

2011/May/01: "Agnus Dei" is a Latin phrase, used in several classical parts and "masses" (sacred choral parts) and its meaning is "Lamb of God". This phrase refers to the relationship between human ("lamb") and his leader ("shepherd"), God. Although "Agnus Dei: Prepare yourself" is a trance song, I tried to express the mystical sense of its title, expanding its meaning with the thought that we should be always prepared for the next stage, whatever that is. This song was created in 2008 and after a major improvement to its melody and production, is available again on the Music/Songs/Electronic/Trance-Club page. Prepare yourself :)

2011/April/15: Listening to older songs, I always find something that could be corrected. How would it be if we could do the same in our life? Even better, if there was an "undo" button to change some of our past decisions? But, unfortunately or not, the "undo" button exists only in the digital world... So, don't look back, grab the opportunity to learn from mistakes and keep flying!.. New versions of "Celtic dream" and "Sarabande" are available on the Music/Songs/Miscellaneous page. Both tracks have been improved on their music and mastering production.

2011/April/02: "Grab the light" is a hip-hop Greek song. I am thankful to Vagia Papapostolou for the great lyrics. You can find this song on the Music/Songs/Greek songs page.

2011/March/27: New video of "Sarabande" has been uploaded. George Frideric Handel (1685-1759) was a great German composer, known for his operas, concertos and oratorios (church music). One of his most famous compositions is "Sarabande in D Minor". "Sarabande" means "slow dance". This is my first effort to make a remake on a classical part, using both ambient and chillout styles. You can find this song on the Music/Songs/Miscellaneous page. The video is available here.

2011/March/16: Grandma Janice told the story of Margery Williams "The velveteen rabbit" which was first published in 1922. Art was made by William Nicholson and music by zero-project. A fairytale available for free: Mp3, full covers and pdf book. A gift for every child and everyone who keeps a child alive in his heart :)

2011/March/12: The seven deadly sins instituted by Pope Gregory in the 7th century while the Church was single and indivisible, as the schism between East and West occurred in 1054. According to Pope Gregory, the seven deadly sins are: Lust, wrath, gluttony, greed, envy, sloth and pride.
In 2008 the Vatican by a circular signed by the current Pope Benedict XVI renewed the list and added seven new deadly sins, which are: the human genome surgery, drugs, environmental pollution, social and economic injustice, shameless wealth accumulation, pedophilia and abortion.
"The eighth sin" is an electronic song with German vocals. I am thankful to all partners for their great help: Ionas for the lyrics, Emmanuel Fidopoulos for the German translation and the vocals, Eduard Haumahu, the photographer who allowed me to use his wonderful photo for the slim CD cover and Anneliese Van Buren, the model of this photo. "The eighth sin" is available on the Music/Songs/Electronic/Trance-Club page.

2011/March/11: "Dreaming of you" is an orchestral part with piano and expressive highland pipes. My inspiration was based on the sense of some dreams; they are so wonderful that you could wish to last for ever... You can listen to or download it on Music/Songs/Soundtrack/Orchestral page.

2011/February/19: "e-world" means "electronic world". This album is a wavering trip between the world created by man and the world created by nature. It is a trip from the human madness (expressed with "Psychodrama") to the natural calmness (expressed with "Ocean trip"). On the other side, e-world -with the help of technology- allows us to admire the beauty of the real world ("Moon flight" and "Beyond earth"). This alternation of music senses, does not give a specific answer to the question "living in an e-world is better than living in a real world?" but motivates the listener to give his own answer... The main music style of "e-world" album is electronic/ambient, however, you can notice gothic and progressive rock influences in "Labyrinth" and "Psychodrama" songs. The saxophone in "Moon flight" and "Beyond earth" tracks is played by Dmitriy Samoylenko.

2011/January/08: "Woman" is one of my first vocal songs, created in February 2009. Now, almost two years later, is available with better mixing and mastering production; and the most important: With the great voice of Vagia Papapostolou; I was searching for such a voice for a long time and finally I found it :) I want to thank JB-Anastasia for the lyrics, Vagia Papapostolou for the vocals, Fenia Labropoulou for allowing me to use her marvelous photo in the CD cover and Anneliese Van Buren, the model of the photo, for her excellent presence, absolutely suitable to the song's sense. You can find it on the Music/Songs/Greek songs page.
