Free Cultural Works:
The "zero-project" musical works are defined by the author ("zero-project") as "Free Cultural Works" and "Free Content", as explained in the "Definition of Free Cultural Works".




Safe Creative: All the "zero-project" works are registered via "Safe Creative".
 
 
 
1. Are the "zero-project" musical works free of copyright restrictions?

Yes, the "zero-project" musical works are free.

The musical contents of this site are owned by the artist "zero-project" and they are licensed under the "Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License". That means that all the musical works are free for every use. The "Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License" is the default license for all the authentic "zero-project" works. If a collaborative project or musical work has a different license it is clearly mentioned on the work's page.
Any probable licensing changes will not affect the already published works.
   
  2. Can I use the "zero-project" musical works as I want? Can I share, copy, upload or use them in a project (web site, movie, documentary, game, video etc)?

Of course you can.

There is no restriction for professional/commercial use of the "zero-project" musical works. The payable licensing options (as described on the paragraph 5) can be useful if you need an authorized certification of legal use. Selecting a payable option like "Jamendo", "TheMusicase.com" or "YouLicense", you are supporting "zero-project", because the half of your payment goes to the artist.
   
  4. I have downloaded a "zero-project" musical work from another site, service or music store. Are there any licensing restrictions? Are there any other right holders than "zero-project"?

No matter where you have downloaded a "zero-project" musical work from, the license remains the same. None of the partners holds any exclusive rights on an authentic "zero-project" musical work.

All the contracts/agreements between "zero-project" and partners who represent sites, services, shops or companies that are publishing "zero-project" musical works for free or under payable options, are non-exclusive. No additional restrictions are set by any partner on the default license of any authentic "zero-project" musical work.
   
  5. I want to license a musical work because I need a certification of legal use. How can this be done?

If you need an acknowledged license or a certificate which proves that you are using legally the "zero-project" works, you can use the available options:

a) License music from Jamendo.

If you need a license for a track, you can click on the button and you will be redirected to the track's page on Jamendo. Then, click on the button "License this music". When the checkout is finished, you can download a high quality FLAC file of the track, as well as PDF documents for the certificate, the license agreement and the invoice. With this licensing option you support "zero-project" because the 50% of your payment goes to the artist.

b) License music from TheMusicase.com.

"TheMusicase.com" is a licensing service. You can purchase a license for professional use and download a high quality file of the track you are looking for. With this option, you support "zero-project" because the 50% of a payment goes to the artist.

c) License music from Youlicense.com.

"Youlicense.com" is another licensing option. You can purchase a license for professional use and download a high quality file of the track you are looking for.

d) Requesting a digital certificate document from SafeCreative.

After you find on the SafeCreative website the track that you are looking for, click on its title and you will be redirected to the track's page. Then, click on the option "Get copyright registration declaration". Write your full name and your email in the fields of the popup window. After a while,
a pdf certificate will be sent to your email. In this case, no extra WAV or FLAC files are available.
